Biography

Carlotta is a virtual anthropologist currently carrying out a postdoc project at the University of Pisa. Her project focuses on Miocene primates from Italy, compared with similar taxa from different parts of the World. She achieved her PhD at Sapienza University of Rome, with a thesis on the study of Homo sapiens long bones in modern and archaeological samples. She is a skilled researcher in the study of human and all other primates’ remains through virtual methodologies of acquisition and analysis, both in the lab and in the field.
